I just downloaded this new file sharing program the other day (http://www.jblurb.com) and its like scour exchange with a whole lot more. Apparently the program has just been release so not too many people know about it, but it really kicks ass. It's called JBlurb, and you can download it at http://www.jblurb.com check it out, this is really awesome!

VNN2000 is another great one. Only about 150-200 people or so on at any time, but most people who share are on fast connections and have a good collection of stuff to share.
http://www.vnn2000.com The client is pretty nice, I like it. jason |

anyone using cuteMX agin?
I think I used it a bit before it went down, then I was on cnet or zdnet last week and noticed it was on agin. I'm falling in love with it. I've got cable and it has given me faster downloads than any of them. With one guy it was like 99 kb/s, but I guess scour gave me better rates on average. You got to love all of cute's options though. |

My favorite is edonkey2000 check it out at guess where edonkey2000.com
It kicks ass. Automatically DLs from the fastest person with the file you want, and you can UL it as you DL it. Practical good of this: Say you want a 600 meg file, but the dude who has it is on a modem. However, someone with a cable has been downloading it from him for a while, and already has 400 megs of it. You will automatically get the first 400 megs from the guy with cable, and only have to get the last 200 from the original guy on the modem. Score! small user base so far, but weekly updates. |
