I had previously banned a single IP address from connecting to my shoutcast server... and now would like to unban the address.

When viewing the ban ip list, the banned ip appears, with a link to "unban", however, the "unban" link does not seem to do anything, and the IP remains banned.

Am I doing something wrong?
How do I go about removing the ban on a particular ip?

Also, a separate issue while I am here.
Although it seems you can ban an ip from connecting to your server as a listener, is it possible to ban an ip from connecting to your server as a broadcaster? (in the case of hacked, pirated takeovers, etc.)

Thank you in advance for your help.

When the server is started it reads the file:
sc_serv.ban
Kill the server, edit the file, start the server, if the unban is not working.

And as for the other, yes you can:
Quote:
From sc_serv.ini:
; SrcIP, the interface to listen for source connections on (or to make relay
; connections on if relaying). Can and usually will be ANY or 127.0.0.1
; (Making it 127.0.0.1 will keep other machines from being able to
; broadcast using your shoutcast server )
SrcIP=ANY
Oh and while you are in there:
Quote:
Also From sc_Serv.ini:

; BanFile is the text file sc_serv reads and writes to/from
; for the list of clients prohibited to connect to this
; server. It's automatically generated via the web
; interface.
; BanFile=sc_serv.ban

"Beer?"
