Transparency

Still learning here, I've noticed in several nice skins, in order not to hide so much of the image, they cut out parts. Like the play bar(or what you would call the bar that has a little moving thing that affects or shows what point of the song you are in)they made it a 2 pixel thing, that looks cool and is semi-transparent. I don't know that this makes sence, but maybe someone could tell me about transparency period. Boy I'm stupid:P

If you want to make your posbar button smaller, without using a fake transparency, you need to open the posbar.bmp then crop the entire .bmp down to only include the posbar area and the unpressed button (making this button whatever size you need). You will have to totally crop off the 'pressed' button state.

You can do this with your Volume and Balance buttons too, but those you can only change height-wise.
