Difficulties Accessing Stream URL

Hello,

I am having issues with our SHOUTcast stream which was setup by a previous technical volunteer. Our stream is setup here: http://cfmh-listen.unbsj.ca:8000/index.html?sid=1

I can get the .pls file to play in any media player, but nothing loads at the stream URL. Is this related to someway it was setup?

Another station wants to simulcast what we are broadcasting during a special event and can't load the .pls file in their system, but can play from that direct stream URL, which, presently plays nothing for them or I.

when a browser opens the stream url, it's user-agent will cause the dnas to return an index.html page.

a real media player should be able to directly open the stream url - what url are you using/giving out?

try all three - one or more should work.

Thank you. I was giving out the top URL, which was not working, but the following two work perfectly.
