128k encoding/broadcasting

K I d/l shoutcast and I got it to work. I see others broadcasting at 128k and I can only get 56k. I rip mp3's at 128k but how am I able to broadcast at 128????

On your SHOUTcast Source Pop Up click on the tab "En coder" and change your settings on "Encoder Settings"

WARNING! if you do not have the bandwidth to support a hight birate your feed will be choppy

Why are you replying to threads 2+ years old?

Back then the DSP was configured a little differently.
