Creating Playlist from FTP directory

At work, I'd like to have access to my home ftp server on which I have all my music. I realize I can open the ftp directory in the minibrowser or open a single ftp mp3 file, but you can only play 1 song then have to go back and manually click the next song. I would have thought you could add an ftp directory url under playlist and it would create a playlist like it does for a local folder, but it doesnt open.

When I attempt to ADD a URL to the playlist, i.e.
ftp://mp3:mp3@myftpserver.com , I would have thought it would login and create a playlist from the files there so I could just hit "play" like normal and it would play songs automagically. But this doesnt happen.

Any ideas how to accomplish this?
