To make a skin, you need a graphics program of some type, MS Paint will work,
but you can also download free trial versions of Paint Shop Pro
. There's also a free program called Gimp
If you are going to skin the cursors, you'll need a cursor editor MicroAngelo
is a good one.
You also need a zipping program such as Winzip
Then go to:
The Developer Tab here at Winamp
All three places have excellent tutorials to learn how to make skins
Also you will need to download the base skin into your C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins folder.
