Access to metadata files

I purchased a Shoutcast stream player which displays the current song and song history. Unfortunately, it can't access http://<serverip>:<port>/stats?sid=1 (http://wiki.shoutcast.com/wiki/SHOUT...2_XML_Reponses) when connecting to my stream at http://listen.shoutcast.com/BluesRockLegends. The player requires a http://[ip]:[port]/; link structure.

As my radio stream link doesn't offer the standard access to the metadata file (http://<serverip>:<port>/stats?sid=1) I'm considering running a DNAS Server 2 instance on my server so I can obtain the current song and song history metadata.

If I do a default SHOUTcast DNAS 2.5.1 instal on my server, will the standard current song and song history metadata files be available to the player? If not, what changes to the default installation do I need to make?

The wiki-pages are providing help for the installation of the DNAS on a own server. The SHOUTcast streaming-service is based on icecast, so it will not work on this way.

btw: the latest build is 2.5.5.733 and not 2.5.1

If you have a DNAS installed on your server, then you can request the stats-pages.
