Remove 'showlen' from songticker in Modern skin

So this has been a thing for me ever since the modern skin was introduced; I want to be able to remove the appended song length from the ticker. NOTHING I've ever tried, including deleting showlen or setting it to 0 in the skin's xml files, has ever worked. It's all I want. It's the only thing in winamp I cannot change easily in the settings that I want to change. That's it. Just make it so that I don't see (1:43) or whatever after a song title in the ticker by default.

Is that so bloody much to ask?

Showlen="0" will only take effect if you replace this line in player-normal-group.xml (line 407):
PHP Code:
with this:
PHP Code:
<text display="songname"
but then you will lose scrolling.

Unless we just hide the time in the No-Scrolling option. I think no one is bothered by the time on the display while having the songticker set to classic/modern scrolling. I could image to add such an option to my skin: "Hide time when set to no scrolling". Good idea?
