Listen to MP3 through NetWork, not SHOUT

I've searched, but not found, any tool for making it possible to "Shout" through "only network", and not go out on internet.
Is there any tool for that?
If it is remote-controlable too, it's great, but not "a must".
Why I want something like this is:
I go around between multiple computers, and it sucks that I've to give away power and HD-space an all the computers I work with..... having the ability to use just one computer as the "server", serving all the songs (space), and consuming all the power (cpu) - and only having a "speaker"/"ghost", or something like that... on the other computers... to be able to listen out through the other computers soundcard... for me that would be great.....

SHOUTing also eats internet-speed, and have to buffer and such... which I hope is unnecessary only going through local network.

I'll be glad for all serious post.

Put your mp3 on one machine and share the folder

that or just do a private stream and don't tell anyone about it.
