Does it matter if the skin is in 24-bit bmp or 256 colour bmp? As the base skin and everything is 256 but I have created a skin im close to publishing and it is 24-bit bmp. If seen a 24-bit bmp pasted into a 256 document and its all crap (black and white), im just wondering if this will happen if anyone else has although it is okay on my computer.

no. everyone will see a 24 bit skin
for advanced users: the filesize of 24 bit bmps is big (they take more ram), if you have a good image editing program like paintshop pro you can decrease the colourdepth of the bmps the program will use the nearest colours, not the windows default colour palette (what happens if you cut and paste it) so that the skin will still look good |

Yeah, I always wondered why it did that... As soon as I added a picture as a layer, it would look all sucky. Oddly enough, it only did that on the base skin... I got some other guy to send me his template, and it worked from then on....if anyone cares... |
