I am running redhat linux 6.2.

ShoutCast seems to start up fine, but if I goto http://domain:8000, it says server status is "Server is currently down."

If I try to "Listen" it says

[dest: 207.30.9.136] server unavailable, disconnecting

and if I try to click a link

<a href="http://www.domain.com:8000/whatever.pls">Here</a>

then I get an INVALID RESOURCE...

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks

Is the server getting data from your broadcast source?

It should be

It should be, the file is located in the correct directory (the scpromo.mp3) and I am trying to link using scpromo.pls...

The status page when I start the server says Server is Currently Down, even though the process says it's running with out a hitch

Or maybe I should say, I am actually not broadcasting, I am just trying to use the on-demand function.
