I am running redhat linux 6.2.
ShoutCast seems to start up fine, but if I goto http://domain:8000, it says server status is "Server is currently down." If I try to "Listen" it says [dest: 207.30.9.136] server unavailable, disconnecting and if I try to click a link Here then I get an INVALID RESOURCE... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks |

Is the server getting data from your broadcast source?

It should be
It should be, the file is located in the correct directory (the scpromo.mp3) and I am trying to link using scpromo.pls...
The status page when I start the server says Server is Currently Down, even though the process says it's running with out a hitch |

Or maybe I should say, I am actually not broadcasting, I am just trying to use the on-demand function.
