say folks..
i have this dumb emachine 800mhz with pentium 3 running windows ME. yep heard that right. WindoZ me. ( i must have been dozing when i bought the computer.) anyhow. for some reason when i click on mp3.com's hifi play links, the winamp starts up but instead of playing the stream file, it will pop up the "open file(s)" window. Then if i save the stream *.pls file and try to double click on it, then it will open winamp but the playlist window is empty. I tried everything in various configurations option. adding PLS to input configuration, associating pls with winamp, and removing association with any mp3 files from windoz media player and real player. nothing has worked. say you suggest a patch, perhaps, for this problem? I mean my winamp on windowsme doesn't even play. I think this may warrant some extra caffeine and time in front of your computers? lol. thanks much. will be looking forward to hearing from some of you. |
