Yes, BG. I think Natasha is a wonderful skinner. Seen more than a few pieces of her work. I'll gladly join the fight if/when the *new* rating system is in place and if/when I am a member of said *new* system. This constant tit (heh heh ... I just said tit ) for tat stuff is getting old ... I honestly find myself only rating skins I like now for fear of total retribution ... at least until my mail accounts are firmly web-based.

And just as an aside ...
I say this as one who cares. BG, buddy, friend ... please do take some deep breaths and try to relax a bit. Ya been on a tirade of sorts for a while now man. Not good for the heart or the soul. Let the blood flow buddy. The planets will realign one day. Rest assured in that. At the end of the day our hope and ourselves are all we have.

heh, thanks Duk. Two words. FINALS WEEK! but its all over now - just wrapped up my last grade maker. Oh, and just a heads up - I'll probably be off for four or five days sometime soon, to get my summer connection figured out, and to, as you suggest, chill.

If you want high download figures, skin something popular, a brand name, a tv or movie star, more people search for names that u see every day than something u invent youself

For example remember my skin the end?, how many people do u think will search for the name "the end" as opposed to ones who search for "jenny mccarthy"?

and i dont think its good to give skins 5 stars just to get back from the lower rankings...
like i seen in past few days is that ppl from here OVERrate skins a lot.. i dont think its fair to everyone.. even to the person who made the skin..

Which is why we need the panel to mend these problems.

BTW, can someone please tell me how in the hell you all get the search to work? I always get "no files match your request". Can't even do a search for my own skins that I know for a fact exist on the servers. Please help!

The search is very specific, and down more times than I can care to rember, but it usualy works for me, try a few wild card searches, say Jeri or Jenny for instance, see what that pulls back, author search has never worked for me
