While reading some threads about localization of NSIS, I think it'll be even cooler to let users to choose a language first(say, from a dropdown list) before installation. That makes SuperPimp more professional.
Any ideas? |

Hi =),
I'm not sure that my idea is possible, but you could make some sort of front-end that allows you to choose a language, then you ask for the output directory and pass that to an NSIS installer with a command line switch. That way you wouldn't have to worry about doing the language thing for NSIS. Hope this helps! |

hi,
in my opinion it would be the best to have a language.nsi like nsisconf.nsi. if the file is not present or has the same language as nsis (english) the installer behaves unchanged. if the file exists the installer should use that language instead of the default (english) language and last but not least if the file exists and there are more languages in that file there should come up a language selection page with a language combo or list box, like the components page. cu yzo. |
