why is it that when I open a file without importing it into winamp it removes the whole god dammed playlist, meaning I have to damn well make a new one, yes I know you can save it, but can you not add a variable that says "delete current playlist on import" thanks,

Start Winamp, press CTRL + P, goto "File types" and check the box "Enqueue as default action". That will fix your problem.

Featuritis -- the disease that plagues and kills many great programs.
Newbies who don't take the time to know the scope of a program keep asking for features that could otherwise be achieved through good use of existing functions. Another newbie comes along to ask for a "safety switch" that counteracts the side effects of this useless new feature. Then a timer that activates the safety switch every ___ minutes. Then a "Save Setting" button to let you save different combinations of the new feature, the switch, and the timer. Then a "Lock Settings" registry setting that prevents neo-newbies from messing with the safety switch. Then a security patch to prevent malicious macros from disarming the "Lock Settings" setting. Then a service pack to include this and other security patches. Mac2k, you may have just started an avalanche. |

Neo-newbies, eh? I suppose I was one of them a few years ago.
