Hello boys and girls, I have a problem at work and I need to get away...to pass my time I ran a few basic statitics on the download count of my skins....pretty interesting, too bad I didnt keep closer records (ie - counts by week) to to see how fast the DL's slow down...

I know, i tried to edit the message, but it wont work, next time ill take a sreen scrape and post the gif.... Never got so high yeah right, you see my panda one? one for 4 months with an average of 8 DL's a day... lol goodness... |

If your gonna show off, tell us when it was published. Because it's more impressive if you go from 0-1000 in a day than 0-100 000 in a year. Tell us an average d/l per day count

Published October 11th... that would make it approx 3333 Dl's a day on average...but the counter hasn't moved much for the past months

Im cool with my DL counts, I just publish skins that appeal to small groups of folks, not mass appeal (ie Zeus) Even the "skin haters" that rate mass appeal skins poorly, like Zeus, like the skin, they just hate to see someone/something so successful...
I think out of all the top skins, most are "metal" type skins where subject matter is just a "stereo" look. My skins appeal to a much smaller crowd I beleive. (There must be a millions of guys downloading the brittnay spears skin 2-3 times, because it isnt even that good, in my opinion) Besides the more DL's your skin gets, the more haters tend to seek and destroy, i'd rather keep my shit on the dl <down low> and have a nice following (if its possible) |

My most popular skin was Edo Shikaku 84,093 - and only because it was a "featured" one. If it never got that, it totally would have been like the original Edo, at 2000 downloads.
Patent Pending was downloaded by all of 50 people... :-/ Downloads arnt everything but a 3 figure number would at least be nice... Now is the time for all good Americans to come to the aid of their Country |

I mean, It's a great skin and all, but It's been sitting on the frontpage of winamp.com/skins for ages, and it's gotten way to much attention (relatively speaking that is...because every skin deserves as much attention possible
)

And have you noticed that the CBUTTONS in zeus do fade to the background when you pres them, and the SHUFREP buttons don't.
Well, Just had to mention this. and about that britney skin. Everybody knows it suck's, but it would be way better if she sucked me. lol
