Some music afficionados would not only like to listen to their MP3 music but also see information regarding the music. Some educators would also make a compilation and post educational reading material on the screen while the music plays. MP3 collectors, like moi, would be happy to see composer, performer, lyricist, and even the lyrics, of MP3s to flash or slide upwards while queued music play.

There must be a plug-in which can display ID3 info. Or perhaps even an add-on in anyone's favorite plug-in. Something like the the display track names feature in G-Force. I am not a programmer, thus I really don't know how ID3 info can be accessed, but I believe there must be a way.

Challenges anyone?

Search for lyrics. I had one (sorry for got the name) that you can program in the lyrics and have it display along with ID3 info. Though, this uses Lyrics3 that goes along with ID3v1 so non that I know of work with infor or lyrics stored in ID3v2 Tags.

Thank you very much Sawg.

Pardon my ignorance but is Lyrics3 a separate program or a plug-in?

What a pity regarding Lyrics3's limitation to display only ID3v1 info. That is because it is more convenient and probably more efficient to store lyrics in the comment section of the ID3v2 tag. Hope you can remember later the program's (or plug-in's) name.

Nevertheless, thank you very much for the information. - MANUEL

Lyrics3 is a standard (like ID3) by the same group. it gies hand in hand with ID3v1. Besides for adding lyircs, it allows for Id3 fileds without ID3v1.X (Above the 30 char limit). It is not a program like ID3 is not a program. Though winamp cannot edit it (though it CAN read extended track info).

If I confused you, try reading Lyrics3 Made Easy over at id3.org

These are the plug-ins I used:
