Ok,

Well everyone, Im about to start recording from laptop to Minidisc player via the Headphone port on the computer. So, my question is whether there is a plugin out there for Winamp that can make this nice and efficient for me (i do not have a Minidisc with an IR port, otherwise I would simply use the Wincue program).

I will be transferring MP3's for quality from the comp, but there must be something I can inject into Winamp to make it that bit easier??????

Thanks a bunch,

Hassan

What desired plugin/function for Winamp would make it easier?

All I can think of is Wincue, but you seem to already know about it. Tell us just what you want and maybe somebody can dig something up for you.

Standard procedure is as follows.

1. Install Wincue and set the gap between tracks to at least 4 seconds.

2. Connect your minidisc recorder to the laptop via the headphone socket.

3. Load your desired mp3s into the winamp playlist window, and arrange them as you want them to be laid out on the minidisc.

4. Insert a blank minidisc and hit record.

5. Hit play on winamp, and wait until the playlist is finished.

Simple as that
