today i clicked on the anime section by accident, and found that my skin (ci-xi) is on the very first page with a 4 and a half star count... in about 6 hours, i've recieved about 3,500 downloads... this system does have some benefits

Cool. I got one skin that has about 3,100 downloads, while another just got published recently (in fact, last time I checked, it only got 4 downloads). The first one was even just an experiment in skinning. The links to them are in my sig, in case anyone wants to check them out.

Wow, congrats... One day, I opened up http://www.1001winampskins.com to find that 3,000 downloads had miraculously appeared within twelve hours... I was stunned. Of course, the winamp people haven't bothered to review it yet, so I'm still waiting.

Anyways, I'll check it out.

It's amazing what 4.5 will do for you. Bojanglez bumped an old one of mine up to that just to see what happens, and it went from 15 to 1600. Quite interesting how things work.

Anyway, congrats on moving up. It was on page 3 or 4 the other day. Kewl.

Congrats. Don't wanna rain on your parade though, but be braced for some frustrated little dork in Abu-Dabi to discover your 4 1/2er and bomb it into the ether with a comment like "Wow this sux I could do bedder with wun hand tide behind my bak" Hopefully it won't happen to you, but it seems to be the growing trend lately.
