Hey peeps, im trying to get shoutcast to work for me but so far no luck. I can broadcast mp3's fine, and i can broadcast my voice fine... but when i try to do both at the same time or switch from one to the other... i simply cannot. I was wondering if anyone with Shoutcast Experience could help me out.

We can help you but we are going to need more info. How are you broadcasting your voice and then what do you change to broadcast music? What soundcard do you have?

First off I am not sure if a SB16 is full duplex.
Take a gander at this: http://players.shoutclub.com/SHOUTcastFAQ.txt Read "T10. Arrrrrrh!!!!!! I set all this stuff up but the listeners can not hear the damn music!!!!" and try the stuff I posted there, if you still have problems come on back and we'll see what else we can do. Did I just use the word gander? I need to get out of the Midwest quick before I get Hill-Billyfied. Tom |
