Greetings,
I am thinking of dumping win98se and going with Win2k, for my shoutcast server box.
I was just wondering, if thier is anything I should know before doing this. Port issues... SAM issues...

Thanks in advance.

I can't answer in regards to SAM since I have never used it, but SHOUTcast works fine under Windows 2000.

well,
should cast runs grate on a win2k box, but the encode runs like shit under win2k, seam to eatup alot of ram and cpu time, so for the streaming server ( sc_dsp plug-in ) runs far better on a win28 machine, but will crash now and then,

I just switched back to win98 for my encode server, and i use Mandrake linux to run the shoutcast server.
