I was running shoutcast on my cable modem and realized that I needed much more speed to do it properly. So today I was able to convice a local University radio station to let me latch on the University's network by putting my own shoutcast server on their system which I put on port 8050, which is also the same system they use for their own feed on port 8000.
When I broadcast on my own computer no problems, whenever I tryped in my keywords, my station came up, not it is not coming up. I know 100% that I clicked the list on shoutcast.com box, their station also doesn't list. Is this a firewall thing for port 80? they do have web access on the same computer and it works fine. Please let me know, Trevor (trevor@razormedia.com) p.s. check out http://www.staticrevolution.com |

same thing here
I was listenign to a radio station that I found here
warp-radio.com , then They pulled them off the list, I thankfully wrote down the ip address, and they are up and running, I emailed them and they said they have the proper boxes checked and should be in the listing, however they won't show, looks like they were taken off the list. Kay |
