sup everyone!
anyways, i can't que over 1400 files ( or so - that's just a guestamate 'cause it crashes, and i did properties on the dirs i qued... ) in multiple folders w/out it dying.. Multiple folders = albums, so folders w/ 17 or so songs in each. Errors: Well, i tried this w/ 2.74, and 2.76... in 2.74, it just launches an insane crapload of windows, which than all crash, saying something about winamp not being able to play that sound format, check in "capibilites", and than after those basically freeze my poor computer, it starts popping up errors saying "error initializing".. if i sit on ALT+CTRL+DEL for about a month , i can start closing the other instances or whatever, and i can eventually make it cooperate again, but i can't play music w/out a restart. I do NOT have "use multiple instances" enabled In 2.76, the same thing happens, but instead of just closing tasks called "winamp" in altctrldel menu, you have to close "playlist editor" and suchlike as well... Winamps have worked fine for me for years, and 2.74, i've had since it came out basically... it's never done this before... i haven't really done anything strange, except re-install win98se, and re-install winamp ( overwriting stuff, reinstalling reg keys... shouldn't really change anything much ) I am on a duron 600mhz w/ 128mbram, w/ 90gb hdd space, using an Epox mobo, and it's onboard audio... |
