New DSP Quality

I don't much care for the LAME encoder that's been bundled with the new DSP. I understand that the need to appease those who wanted to stream at CD quality came at a great flood, but... once I switched from the NSTools codec over to LAME, I immediately noticed the difference in quality.

Take heed those who dare venture into the new age... keep a backup of your old DSP!!

Anyone agree or disagree with me?

I agree. The codec sounds great at high bitrates, but I broadcast at 24 and 40. Aside from having issues with the new DSP and DNAS, I rolled back to my previous setup and am enjoying the quality of the Fraunhofer codec.
