So I downloaded a skin...

I download a skin from a website, and when I opened up the zip file I all saw where a bunch of .bmps and a bunch of text files. The .bmps were peices of the skin. Anyway, Im used to having the skin in the winamp file extension. How do I use this skin? I extracted all the files to my skins folder, but when I went to change my skin, the name wasn't in the skin area.

easy as pie

all you have to do is, rename the extension. put your files back into the zip file, or rezip it. go to my computer, click on view (tools on winme) and then folder options. then click on the view tab. under it, uncheck the box that says "hide file extensions." then rename the skin from .zip to .wsz then put it in your skins folder, and voila!

You don't even need to rename from ZIP to WSZ. Winamp still reads ZIP files as well as it did in the days before WSZ was invented.
