I want to make skins............

Hey ,
Can anyone help me out here? I went to make a skin ,but it said i needed all these things to do it well how do i get them?

Howdy, welcome to skin love.

You need things such as graphic editors, base skin template, tutorial sites etc etc

And you can find them here...

www.jasc.com get paintshop pro from there , a great art package.
www.adobe.com get photoshop from there, a better art package
www.macromedia.com get fireworks from there, another sweet packages.

As for base skin templates, you cant go wrong with....

you may want to stick with Jasc PaintShop Pro for now. It's a free demo download and a fairly solid program. If you have never used a graphics prog before, than this should be more than sufficient. Adobe carries a weighty price tag but in my opinion is superior to the Jasc counterpart. Hell, Photoshop is the standard, for the most part.

Hey Jonesy?
Need a new project? May I suggest an announcement at the top of this forum with FAQ/tutorials on skinning for the n00bs?
We added one for SHOUTcast that Tom came up with and have cut way down on n00b queries.

Excellent idea, I seem to remember one up there from days gone past, think it expired and died, I shall get to it this pm, always wondered how the announcement thing worked lol, nows the time to find out I guess.....
