Shoutcast Chat rooms
Anybody know where I can find some software similar to what Shoutcast uses for their chatrooms? Would like to add the capability to my website.

Shoutcast doesn't use chatroom, and will never support chatrooms as First Party.
However Third Party Chatrooms are accepted, If that awnsers your question. If your talking about IRC then its real simple

well umm I run unrealircd (try a google search)
and on a win32 platform as my ircd server then I have a windrop (eggdrop bot) that monitors my channels all on a win32 system; free system too! try google to yield better results but I consider the bot and ircd server configuration rather advanced not recomended for ordinary users

Do you mean forums? If so shoutcast forums are through vbulletin which cost money but phpbb is a great free one http://www.phpbb.com/

Yeah, I use phpBB also and would like to use vBulletin, but it's too damn expensive!

while on the note of vbuletin, I did do a little researh... Look at the prices
http://www.vbulletin.com/order/ looked good for a one year price, but multiple years, forget that! |

Whoa Nelly. I'm not an expert at everything like you think, I still have my weaknesses and IRC chat rooms are one of those lol.
I barely have my ircd server running, and its running as a beta not to be released to the public. |
