Latest DSP error - ERROR LOADING MODULE

After I have installed the latest dsp
I click DSP/EFFECT and select to configure the dsp it gives me the
ERROR LOADING MODULE error.
It also doesn't give the correct version number listed
Is this upgrade to the new versions of the dsp & server pretty
straight forward or do I have to remove the old codec or something ?
I have had to reinstall dsp 1.10, where can I get previous versions
of dsp's
