new skin - couldnt find anywhere else to post it
heres a new skin, pretty basic I s'pose, I just thought I'd have a go, I'll do the rest of the bits for it when I get round to it, prolly later this month, none of the tooltips work (using any skin, so maybe its just me) but the buttons kind of make sense.
the side bar is the vol(which if youve got a mousewheel it does some wierd stuff, goes up and down but the opposite way ..hmmmmm) the seek bar is at the bottom, the forward and back and the first two top buttons, then play then stop and then pause the eject (?) button is the folder icon and the minimize, close and change size buttons are where they should be :) i'll stick a fuller version up when I get round to it its at http://www.dailyhack.com/ just click on the pic of it l8rs all tim doh just read the post above me, my eyes have gone :) |

although I couldn't use this all the time, this might very well be the most unique(read drug inspired
) skin I've even seen. I need to get back into crack.so what's the intention of this skin? stealth? /* S0Be */ And On that day, the Lords of the land said unto their Master Architect, "The temple you have made to the gods of Wasabi and Maki has brought us no great prosperity" and they sent out him into the lands. As he traveled to a far off land, he found he wasn't traveling alone, but that he had gained companions, and when they found their new land, they started work on a new temple, one that would be OPEN to all who wanted to worship. from The Book of Wasabi C 12 Vs 09 (pg 2003)

i was bored yesterday afternoon and thought I'd try and make a skin for wa3, I made one for wa2 ages ago and am doing some xml stuff atm and everyone else is doing these mental shiny out of space things so I thought I'd see if this worked, have to finish the rest of the bits and then I might call it
"Timboze XP" or something equally unamusing :) although it would be quite nice to stick the playlist in as the directory structure, I'll prolly do it as an explorer type thingy, doing the winshade bit atm (seemed the simplest to get on with) l8rs t should in fact really do some work, seeing as thats what I'm paid for Last edited by tim gunn; 24th October 2001 at 16:27. |

I can't work out if you're having a laugh or not.
Its supposed to look like 'My Computer' on Windows, so don’t you think it would be a bit shite if it didn't. if you even bothered to read the thread you idiot you'd realise that this was just something I did in afternoon for a laugh. get over it and grow a sense of humour oh and to paraphrase you, sorry to be harsh but basically has another 'a' and another 'l' in it. |

hey man i just said that i personaly didnt like it, cause it was too hard to tell what did what. i said i wasnt tryn 2 attack you, just chill and calm down.
BTW: you called it "Timboze XP", why the XP? its in the form of 95. shouldnt it be Timboze 95? if it were for humour or to get away with it when you shouldnt i would call it something like: secretly winamp, or something. ![]() |

it is a lil difficult to use, but a little more labeling would fix that right up (like some tooltips, as soon as they start working...)
anyway, it's a really cool concept, keep at it! |
