Can't install WinAmp

After clicking on the link to install the full version of WinAmp, an error message appears as shown in the attached .png file. I tried to go the the location to download the Active-X file but I am not successfully. Any advise?

Start > run > regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Plugins\Extension\.exe Delete it
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Plugins\MIME\application\octlet-stream (or whatever it was) Delete it
