I had an idea the other day (
). It went something like this:Me: Hey me, you know those skinners for winamp2? Me2: You mean the ones that everyone hates? Me: Yeah, the ones that were responsible for thousands of horrible skins. Me2: I know those. Gee I'm glad there aren't any for winamp3. Me: Wanna write one? Me2: Sure! It'll basically be a skin assembler. You'll take all your images, import them, arrange them, set alpha channels, actions, whatever, and then hit export and it'll write your xml and zip it up. Small problem, in the words of ratbert 'I'm more of an idea rat'. I've started writing it in delphi (explanation here) but it's just some of the basic stuff, it needs a lot more work. If someone who knows (or wants to learn) delphi wants to help me that would be great. I'm sstruggling with drag and drop things and stuff, check the page linked above. Okay, enough ramble If anyone wants to play with it/add new features and stuff, get version -1 here, and there's more info here.Any questions/suggestions/code can be posted here, or emailed to me: sam at krayup dot com.

Cue fanfare: it's:
I got some help from DavinB and did some more work on it. The new version 0.05 has mouse drag support, multi-selection, and a drag-select tool, as well as nicer code. (All code is in the zip file). Not that it actually is useful or anything, or anybody cares
. Oh well.
