Help with error
When connecting to my Shoutcast server you get the message ICY 200 OK. Can anyone tell me what is wrong and how to fix it? Everything just seems to stop at this point and no streaming. Thanks.

I am experiencing this same problem, when connecting to my Shoutcast server I get the message ICY 200 OK, and no streaming yet Server monitor indicates that some streaming is taking place. I get this problem when I broadcast from the same PC which is running the server. However, it does not happen when I remotely broadcast from a different PC.
PS why has this question still got answered? |

have you tried running and listening completely local at the 127.0.0.1 address, this would mean running a second instance of winamp or using real player to listen to the stream on the same machine the source is running on, this will help rule out any network issues.

ok I just ran an analyzer that I have been working on on your stream from the website listed in the profile and you definately have a problem and it appears to be either one of two things. Either you do not have enough bandwidth to stream, or you've messed with the advanced options in the config and changed the sleep rate or something

Thanks for the help. I have even tried a clean install on my system but no luck. It could be bandwidth because I had no problems last night when traffic was apparently quiet. But what puzzles me is why I am able to broadcast from my laptop using identical settings as on my PC at the same time of the day!
