How to play at different streams?
Hello,
I've got a question about playing different streams at the same moment time: 24, 56, 128 Kbit/sec. I cannot get 2 different streams to work. Please tell me how to do it. I use the SHOUTcast server 1.8.3 and the SHOUTcast DSP 1.8.2. I see Output 1-5 and Encoder 1-5, but I cannot connect 2 encoders at the same time! Please help! -=Raymond=- http://www.darkwebdesign.f2s.com |

I just figured it out before you answered. I used port 8000, 8001 and 8002. But the server need port and port + 1, so the next port must be clear too! Now I have this configuration:
Server 1 uses 8000 and 8001 Server 2 uses 8002 and 8003 Server 3 uses 8004 and 8005 And it works fine! Thanks though for your replay... -=Raymond=- <http://www.darkwebdesign.f2s.com> |

I have SHOUTcast Server v1.8.3 installed on my computer and I copied this program 3 times in seperated folders: Encoder 1, Encoder 2 and Encoder 3.
I changed the INI files and the executable files so they are not the same (Server 1-3). Then I changed the ports in the INI files and I runned all 3 programs. I started Winamp and the DSP and configured it and connected! Done! -=Raymond=- http://www.darkwebdesign.f2s.com |
