The way I see it is some of the T3 people have T3's and so forth for the higher end peeps. Why lie and say you've got more then you do? On the other hand, I bet 90% of them users listed as a 14.4 or 28.8 and maybe even 33.6 are really on the top end just being greedy and not wanting to get him up for a download. If they were intelligent they would go into Pref's and set max uploads to 0 per user. Then no one gets your honey.

To get around people lying about their connection on napster, check the ping times. A 14.4 user with a double-digit ping is definitely not on a 14.4 modem.

actually it only took about 3 min. and most of that was spent digging out my calculator to work out the correct number of minutes. but it is still sad that I did bother to work it out.
