I listen to all kinds of music, and my list is always growing. Mostly I listen to pop rock, rock, heavey metal, alternative, trance, techno, soft rock, well really the list is growing all the time. Not much classical though. Also listen to the bands you mention, but they are not in my top favorites, and probably 2% of the music I listen to is the music I write myself, if I have a good singer at the time to sing it but sometimes I just listen to the musical without a singer. I like pretty much anything.... except rap
My favourtite genre is probably rock - stuff like Creed, Staind, Nickelback, Papa Roach and Linkin Park. Not a big fan of Slipknot or Korn though. However, dance / techno music is usually better for MD because it tends to have a stronger beat, which makes it seem more "in time" to the music. One of the best "test" songs for new presets that I like is Safri Duo's Played A-Live for reaction to music, and as has been mentioned before I think, Christina Aguilera's Genie In A Bottle is good for testing bass and treble. Anyhow, hoping to post some more presets later this week, just as a pre-Christmas present for you all

Yeah SM, I'd like to hear something too, just give us the address of a site (maybe put it on a free one with decent webspace like Geocities) so we can take a listen....

A song
Illusion, geocities only gives you 5megs for upload most of the songs are a little bigger, so go here http://www.filesanywhere.com/ and enter milkdrop for the user name and preset for the password and you can download a song, it is not something that will really move MD and it has a singer and she flew the coop, but it is just a hobby of mine so it will give you and idea, this song is about 9 months old. I write many different kinds of music. If you know of a better place I can upload to without paying let me know. SM

How do you actually download the files, SM? I tried to click the link on the side to "Heather - Opersphere" but nothing happens, any ideas?
I didn't realise Geocities had such a small upload limit, I'll let you know if I find anywhere else better. |

Having some trouble with filesanywhere myself, keeps saying it's too busy. I'll try later when I'm on a machine with more bandwidth. 6 megs at 56k isn't much fun anyway.

You are right unchained tested it out and had the same problem, but tried it later and it worked. Illusion, you need to click the file then on download, but it might say to many users, just keep trying until I find a better place to upload. Also Unchained I have 56k to and uploading takes for ever, I would have DSL but they don't offer it in my city yet. SM

Thanks Zylot, if Unchained and Illusion want too or anyone else I will, it might not be what people want to hear though. I do not have to much stuff I like and I desparately need a singer. I think it is like my presets some are shit and some are really good. Hopefully from now on everything will be good. Thanks again. SM
