Auto connect on disconnect help please

Hi All

Im new to Shoutcast so please be gentle. I have decided that I must not have a static ip address as DNAS disconnects after it has run ok for about 10 minutes. So my question is, is there a program to auto re-connect if the DNAS disconnects. If not what can I do?

Are you running the DNAS and the DSP plug on the same system?
If so just point the DSP to localhost and ignore farting around with IPs

DSP is showing localhost, but it makes no difference. Is that the reason why it disconnects after 10 mins or so because I may not have a static IP address?

If the DNAS is disconnectinf from the DSP it has nothing to do with the IP. If it is disconnectinf form the users it might be.

Paste your server long where it disconnects.

Try one of these if your lsiteners cannot stay connected due to a changing IP.
