how to convert Wav files so they can play on broadcast?

Hello .... I have tried and tried to convert some sound bites ... they are funny .... snips from like blazing saddles ... 3rd rock ect .... when I add the file to my broadcast ..it locks up and shuts me down ... I did ... use CDex to try to convert to mp3 ... I do not know if it did anything at alll ...a couple files work ... but the one I really wanted to share on the station .. do not ... what am I missing .... here ... can ya help?

You don't need to do any conversion, jsut put them in your playlist, Winamp supports WAV
