kaolla2 version 1.0 out for beta3

hi there,

the only thing that was holding kaolla2 was the release of this superbe version of winamp3.

Here's what's new :

Addition:
- added component skin, ... one word: it rules
- added color controls. Individual settings for:
* lcd background
* glass
* metal texture
* eq drawer
- added thinger window
- added custom menu graphics
- added bitmap font for components windows

Visual:
- visual change on borders
- visual change on borders part II
- visual change on glass
- visual change on seek
- visual change on alpha background
- visual change on nonalpha background (it's now really really nice)

Misc:
- kaolla2 now uses the alphabackground param found in the newest builds,
this means you will have to enable alpha blending in the options to
get the shadow. But without it, the skin looks as cool, thanks to
a cool nonalpha backgroud
- minibrowser links to the cool jason homepage
- reduced the zip from 522 to 418 k
- retouched customseek a bit to remove unused timers when nothing is playing
so everything should be a bit faster on slower computer (I said a bit)
- added tons of tweaks to take advantage of lastest builds (mostly related to
color stuff) -> while keeping backward support for older betas <-

some very interesting things to note:
* check component to see how powerful the skinning engine can be

* keep it zipped now, ttf fonts will load (thanks b3!)
* antialiasing works for 9x machines! (thanks to b3 again)
* winshade is there

just looked in COLOR CONTROLS and looked at some custom colors, and its uhhh aamazing...... i cannot imagine what skins will be later.

looks really nice, only think i disklike is the fact that it doesn't fit good in the corner

i still like Double Knife the best =)

How can I switch to the winshade mode I almost doubleclicked everywhere in the main window ! I want to see the shade mode because I know it will be kick ass like the rest of this great skin !

I loaded the skin and my imediate reaction is "it's the same as the older version" I had loaded on my computer. I checked everything and it remained the same. Finally, I decided to delete my older version and load it again and sure enough, the versions were conflicting. I was loading the old one!

Let me just say, this version is a huge step-up from its beginning. This is so lovely it's _actually_ going to top Raj's Act 3 Scene 1 on my Winamp3 player (as my main skin)... well, that's until Raj gets Scene 1 a little further into development. Great skin!
