Well that we pretty impressive stttafffy! I remember in #PabUK when you decided to make such an attempt, you said you were trying for 48 hours, so you beat that by far.

Congrats stttafffy. That's longer than I managed when I needed to do it.
The only real way I think of doing any longer is keeping the brain occupied by talking with someone. |

dude, keep it up. if you stay awake for over the 5 days i did, i salute you, friend. i would try to compete against you this week, but i have work to go to. damn work. i might take a week off, just to remember that feeling of turning into an insomniac. and loving it.
keep it up, dude, and remember: have cold baths/showers! you'll wake up a treat. |

I don't get how you can stay awake that long! I can't even stay up that long. Most I've done is 21 hours. Most I've slept is 12 hours.

Wow Spiffed thats really impressive how you've stayed up so long, but if you've got important stuff coming up at school you may want to attempt this another time. Make sure your priorities are straight.

meh, school is just a bigger distraction to stay awake... besides... it's not like highschool matters much.. i need to maintain a 60% average to get into my college. Which i could do with one eye closed and both hands behind my back (well, ok, maybe only one hand behind my back)

It was just a suggestion, just want to make sure you don't get in trouble because of it. Shortest I've ever slept was 45 minutes, it was as soon as I got in my classroom until the bell rang.

Oops, I should have been more specific. I meant 3 hours of sleep, in between 2 long days.

But days are not long, they are always 24 hours.
I should have been more specific too. That was 1st period Monday after I had been up all week end. Hadn't slept since 6:30 in the morning on Friday.

perhaps i can last the next 11.5hrs out.. perhaps |

oh, just so were clear on what 60hrs feels like:
My hands are shaking uncotrollably, my face looks like i'm dead... my whole body is cold, and if i don't physically do something for 3min or so, my eyelids droop |

Hopefully you finish 72 hours of non-stop awakeness. Why the heck do you stay up this long anyways?

Because it would seem to be a challenge... something i've never done before without the help of caffine (and so far sugar). It's my twisted, f**ed up brain, i call this an acomplishment

The same reason all those crazies are competing in the Olympics. And let's not forget every motivational speaker's favorite quote. When asked why he risked his life to climb Mt. Everest, Sir Hillary replied, "Because it was there".

Because it was there...I think you guys are taking this too far, a guy has gotta sleep, and rest. As for the Oympics, its a sport, a general sports that people compete. THey don't suffer like sleep deprivation.

This is hardly sleep dep, and it's hardly suffering... there are things which put your body into much worse things then mines in now (some of which i've been through)
