red/cyan stereo 3d?
In the new features documentation for v.1.02 ryan says that using red/cyan glasses has the full range of colors. Has anyone tried this? Is it really full color? Where can I get red/cyan glasses.

Firstly, I don't think MilkDrop 1.02 comes with the 3d colours set to red and cyan. Even though Ryan still mentions this in the readme, I had to change the blue to cyan myself.
It's not full colour, but it's about 60% colour. Alot better than greyscale, anyways. And you DON'T get red/cyan glasses. That would defeat the purpose of the cyan =P. Just wear regular red/blue ones. Because these lenses are never perfect, your eyes will see some of the green that's in the cyan, and this gives you the colour. - Krash Eighty-three percent of all statistical quotes are made up on the spot. |

Just to ask a really obvious question, is cyan the colour on the top row, fifth from the left (that is, in the colours menu that comes up when you choose the colour of your lenses?)

I think it's actually the one right below that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but for the left lens I set both green and blue to 255 (in "define custom colors" section).

That looks about right, but I can't really see much "colour" there, except it looks more browny-green than anything else?

Ya know, I still haven't found any 3D glasses. I know I had a pair from the time I went to the planetarium (or plane-arium if you saw that one South Park episode) a few years back, but they haven't turned up.

I don't really understand, why not share the green with both the left and right channels? That is, make the RGB for left lens (0,127,255) and right lens (255,127,0)?

That doesn't happen because it is just not standard.
It's like taking your car to the auto mechanic and saying, "why don't you guys use square wrenches?"
