Plugin Request: Automatically find "dead files" & update playlist periodically.

It would be nice to have a General plugin for Winamp that could scan a playlist for dead files and automatically find the moved or renamed file based on the information previously stored in the playlist. For file sharers, it would also be cool to have a plugin that would automatically add newly download MP3s from a specified directory to a playlist. This would be especially helpful to people who have a huge playlist and don't want to change each individual playlist entry when only a few files were renamed or moved.

Come on, I can't possibly be the only Winamp user out there who would appreciate a plugin that would update a playlist when MP3s are moved! (Or am I?) I'd program it myself, but I don't know enough VB (which quite a few people seem to be having problems with) and I don't know any C++. I am a part time college student with a full time job, so I don't have lots of free time either.
