Hey Rova..

With the release 1.02 and the implementation of a few things I'd been wanting for a long time, I've only got one more thing on my wishlist at the moment: settable refresh rate.

Add it, por favor.

Feature Request: Make the PL Nav's title editable.

My small request would be a small option to edit or remove the "Track List:..." line from the Playlist Navigator.

The reasoning for including an option to remove this line entirely is that it is a bit of a space-waster for those of us who use the Playlist Navigator with huge fonts as a sort of front-end for Winamp (for use with remote control).

In case this row become editable, it would be extremely wonderful if I could include MP3 ID3v2 information in it, such as the current track's Artist and Album. If this was possible, it would be an extremely powerful solution; I could choose in title formatting that only the song's name would appear in the title, knowing that the Artist's name and Album name would still appear in MilkDrop.

Thanks for hearing me out.

FYI, Rovastar doesn't have any control over what is or isn't in the next version of Milkdrop. Alot of people send him mails telling him how great milkdrop is, even though he didn't write it - he just manages the milkdrop.co.uk website.

FYI: I know you weren't necessarily just talking to me.. but I did know that; I was just requesting he add it to the wishlist. (which I was glad to see he did, btw!)

What about more variable font size for the sticky wishlist?

I think the request for more variable font size (either by making it number-based or by adding more option such as (Extremely Extra Large) should be included in the sticky wishlist.

And BTW, when
- Options of having a picture/logo (jpg's and the like) as well as text.

is implemented, I think it should be extended so that you could launch text strings and pictures via WM_COPYDATA messages (for people who want to extend MilkDrop's usability as a frontend for Winamp).

If this was made possible, I could do things such as launching a random picture of the current artist or launching the album cover with great ease.

a little request of mine

First let me express my appreciation for the "Throbbing Northern Lights" preset, it's gorgeous Rovastar!

Secondly, I wonder if you could add a little request I have. On the portable pc I'm using when I VJ(a toshiba satellite), there's no SCROLL-LOCK key (or any way to emulate it that I know of) so I request of Ryan Geiss if he can please make the LOCK PRESET key configurable

thx in advance

OK the new wishlist is updated now with a load of new stuff. I think everything recently posted that is reasonable/useful I have added.

I have also added a few things myself.

Let's hope the size of the wishlish doesn't scare Ryan off.

Anything more just post to a new thread.

I'll lock this thread now.

Rovastar.
