I'd personally reccomend WinMX. I've always found it much better than any of the others, plus (unlike on Kaza) you can share mp3s of >128

Open Regedit...
H_KEY_CURRENT_USER Software Morpheus *Click on LimitBitrate on the right, and change the value to 0 (zero) done no more 128kbit restriction in fasttrack software.. but anyways i will NEVER use fasttrack stuff again.. over to winmx i go.. |

trick morpheus?
everything I've read about the morpheus shutdown says the denial of service is caused by a change to your registry keys for the morpheus program, so if you changed those keys to match a still working kazaa program would morpheus work once again? After all it's still basically the same software, it's just trying to log into the wrong place right? Well I'm gonna try at least.

i believe the client identifies what client it is (morpheus, grokster, kazaa)
kazaa forcfully removed all morpheus supernodes from the network by fucking their supernode userlist, and preventing them from getting a new one (i'ld assume they point it to the ad server instead of the server that feeds ip's of supernodes) no morpheus supernodes means nowhere for morpheus users to connect to, as version 1.5 of the client prevents anything that identifies as morpheus not to connect, and now even more so they wont connect 1.3.x clients either (no matter what brand) you can still use the client if u find a supernodes ip, add it manually and dont log in.. (also beat the program to the search button before it greys it out )to much of a much around for me.. |

change registry
Yeah I tried it, didn't work. I was able to stop recieving the error message telling me to upgrade, and it would seem to connect, but only for a second, and then it would just start over. However I found another solution online at this website http://pub45.ezboard.com/fmorpheusfr...picID=35.topic
it just replaces the dll file that the spyware in grokster or kazaa uses to run. Result: same basic program, same fast track network, no spyware. The new dll file works great, and I don't get popups, or any ads, so it's actually better than morpheus was, I suggest you try it and tell a friend. |

Looks like i have no choice but to go back to winmx i tried Grockster and Kazaa but everytime i use them they brack my windows shell like sometimes i cannot right click it breaks my keybord volume control and plus it sometimes breaks some display stuff like bitrate and the time length in winamp i find it odd that i didn't have to worry about this stuff in morpheus
