Im makin a skin but I dont want to have the visualization. I deleted the viscolor.txt file but then it uses the default colors. Is there another file i should delete?

dont delete it, just make all the colors the same as the background of your skin

Well, that doesn't work because I have a picture right where the visualization is. Once I start playing a song, the visualization covers half of my picture. Or do you mean make the visualization transparent, and if so how do i do that?

I dunno, there is no way to get rid of it short of having the person getting your skin turn it off, I dont think there is a way to not have it draw SOMETHING when it tries to do the vis, so your best bet might be to redesign your skin, unless someone else has a better alternative.

Speaking purely as an end-user, I have never seen a WA2 skin without the visualisation, and I wouldn't want to use a skin that denied me it, especially as it also acts a button to launch the currently selected vis-plugin. Just my thoughts
IKLOP: Have you looked at skinning for Winamp3? It allows completely freeform skinning that would allow you to fully express your ideas without being compromised by WA2's size limitations. There's no need to tell me when I'm right; I operate on that principle exclusively and with absolute certainty |
