changing the shape of any button really only involves copying the background onto the button bitmap, and then painting the button as you wish. For instance, let's say I have a skin that had a green background and black buttons, and instead of a big square play button, I want a round one. Instead of just painting the play button square solid black then, I paint it the same color green as my background, and then over that I paint a round, black button, and this 'fake' a round button.

The same is true for any winamp button. You're just faking shape changes by using the 'background'. If you're referring to the Playlist button stacks, simply decide what your background color in pledit.txt is, and use that for your background color as described above.

...a blatant person.

Do you mean vertical buttons as in the clutter bar (OAIDV)? If so they are found in the titlebar.bmp file. I dunno what you mean..your question isn't really explained that well

I'm just throwing random replies at you:

Do you mean the scrollbars in the MB? If so, you need some CSS code. Reply and we'll try our best to help you.

Hi :)

I knew I would confuse people sorry, I found were to change the button style, the buttons was grey square buttons with little = signs
on them, my other problem is ideas what skins to make, I love the brass effects, but have no paint program to use other than psp7 and mspaint, I know it is imposable for me to do, but my hubby was wanting
to know if anyone can design a skin for winamp 3d, looking like it has a steering wheel lol? he is into cars exspechaly old models, I have so many ideas, but when I start it looks awful, how do you guys do it the look great? for exsample I want to use a dragon I have for part of the skin, but were the slide bars in the EQ cuts out part of the pic, and the main.bmp cant put much in that part, I know I am a blaber mouth lol I can't help it tho lol,
thank you all so much

I think the buttons you are talking about are the EQ sliders, see attachment. As for skinning i use psp7 all the time, some skinners use mspaint, and nothing is impossible. just take your time and the skins you make will get better and better

you could just get rid of the sliders if you want to, all you have to do is take the eqmain.bmp and cut of the bottom part like in the attachment, you wont have any sliders, but you'll have a lot more space to show whatever you want

No, you don't absolutely need them to run Winamp, but people prefer to have them, and if they're missing and you submit it, you'll get a low rating in "Completeness."
