New Skin that I've Amazed Myself With...

Yes, Perpetual Cold is on hold right now, I just can't find anything to do with it...

But, with a few stolen details (hee hee hee) and a lot of persistance, I made THIS...

In MS Paint.

Suggestions? I'm not sure about the grey LCD display.

(By the way, "Guri-n Airon" means Green Iron in Japanese, right? Stupid translator.)

You got the "green" part right, but the form of "iron" that you're using means an iron for ironing clothes. Try this page, it's got a list of 96 matches for "iron" lol. There's a few that match better, but you'll have to pick which one you like the best.

Maybe I'll use "Furugane"...

[EDIT] Btw, only this skin and Visional Memory have had barcodes, and I kinda like the style, so maybe it is my new signature, though I'm not sure if they'll fit in to all my skins... This skin has an industrial, urban feel to it, so I put it in.

Oh, and I might have to do this over. I haven't gotten permission from the author of Room237 to use his "Cbutton style".. it's very similar. Hopefully, he'll agree. [/EDIT]

I thought something about it looked similar...

Those cbuttons do suit it though...

As for the barcode not fitting into all of your skins, unless its a real retro style it should....anything with that cool one pixel line style would look fine with a barcode...

Hey, that skin's not bad.

You should anti-alias the oval around the CButtons.

And for the barcode, make the white the black and the bars and numbers the bright green.

i just skimmed over all these replies, so sorry if i'm getting the wrong impression, but if you're planning to edit someone's skin, or make a similar skin and just mention them in the readme, that wont fly. i've seen many a skin get deleted and the author says "but i couldn't contact the original author and i put his name in the readme!" doesn't matter. you gotta have permission.

I dont think that guy invented the rectangle....and u didnt use HIS cbuttons....just the idea of having a rectangle joining em, which u happened to see on his skin...

If youre really worried about it then change the cbuttons...how do they look without the rectangle??
