Yes, Sonique 2 official alpha release is out and it seems stable for the most part. Also it's fast and does stuff very smoothly. Playlist is improved too. Multiple PLaylist is already implemented yet unavailable in the skin released with the alpha release.

Animations are darn very smooth. Check out S2 Remotes on Deskmod.

i have to say....

it gangraped my winamp and stole all the file associations.
it also crashed several times when it first loaded.

very buggy compared to winamp3 alpha2

Now now, an alpha is an alpha. Its not fair to attack a program until beta stage... at least.

File Associations will probably be fixed in the next release. But to be an Alpha, it is very good.

And check out some remotes to "really" see what it can do. Those remotes will make you drool. Remotes are on Deskmod.

new alpha is out which doesnt steal your file associatations, John was very sorry he had forgotten to add this. It was a silly oversight.

And if you close the app while it is still playing a song it continues and when you want to play with any other player you get messages like the device is in use by another app.
