Shoutcast, Winamp and PCDJ-Red

Hello to all :

I am very new to this so don't yell that loud if I'm asking something really basic and seeminly dumb.

I'm going live on Delicious Agony next week, using the new PCDJ-Red software to connect to the stream so I can segue tunes.

There's something out there called "The Urban Strangers Website" that I apparently need some plug-in's from.

Anyone out there have a web address for this?
Can't seem to find it anywhere.

Thank you all in advance.

Simple version of what the software does:
It's a twin active mp3 player where both can operate at the same time. Output is controlled by an on-screen mixing board.

The software isn't that new--just the version I've got.

Not sure Shoutcast has anything to do with this---the software package needs something from the "Urban Strangers Website".

Thought some of you "long-timers" out there may know.
That's what i'm looking to find.

Still waiting for an answer back from the software company--Visionic in Florida.

Use of PCDJ!!

Hi!I use PCDJ and it work well with the shoutcast DSP.
Start the server and the Winamp with the DSP. Change input to
soundcard input instead of winamp input.
Start PCDJ and the sound is streaming. No other pluggins.
I have tryed other program too, and i like Traktor.
Try Bpm-Studio. It has a built in DSP so it is wery easy to stream.

Dude:

BLESS YOU MY SON !!!

I'm a veteran vinyl/cd dj (started in clubs on Long Island NY in 1985)

"This here "tech-not-logical" stuff has my head spinning, not my music!

You just saved my airshifts! Had to use that click-voice-on/click-voice-off that sounds "so professional"!

Now the fun part, (but not for the radio show): I've got over 5,800 pieces of vinyl to get into my hard drives (oh joy) to burn cd's.

THANKS AGAIN!!

Hey hawkeye:

"Lissen heah Sonny boy"

This "old man" of 43 doesn't scratch anything other than itches and urges (plus the occasional head from a bad golf shot!)

I played "New Wave" when it was new (1980's)---Depeche Mode, New Order, Talk Talk----that kind of stuff.

Now I'm playing the music I've always loved--Progressive.
Bands like Nektar (my fav of all time), RPWL, The Lens, etc.

All I really need to do is be able to segue songs---can't take the one-at-a-time stuff and also my line in is mixer driven so I can do voiceovers w/o click-on---click-off.

If you want to, check out the station I'm on---it operates 24-7-365.
