Odd speaker problem!

I am running an SBlive X-gamer 5.1 with Four Point Surround 2000 speakers (4) on Windows XP. The problem I experience is that I cannot listen to the music on my back speakers at all when in Winamp. When I use windows media player, it will play the music on all four speakers, or when I do another thing that requires sound it will use all four speakers, but in Winamp it will only play on the front. I'm currently using digital output from my soundcard to my speakers, and I didn't have any problems using winamp with four speakers before Windows XP. Any help would..well, be helpful!

P.S. I've read the sticky on creative cards, didn't find anything regarding this issue.
